About The Author
Meet Benjamin Straup
Benjamin Straup is the co-founder and co-leader of Bethesda with his wife, Tisha. Ben’s heart beats with the desire to see people genuinely encounter Jesus Christ without becoming entangled in the wearisome web of religious self-effort. He has a deep love for sharing the gospel and praying for the individuals God places in his path. Life is an ongoing journey, and he will be the first to admit he doesn’t have it all together — but his anchor is found in the One who holds all things together: Jesus.
Ben loves spending time with his family. He’s a foodie, reptile enthusiast, fly fisherman, and world traveler who laughs often and practices a posture of childlike awe and wonder.

About The Book
A Journey Through Psalm 23
Modern wounds often hide beneath busy lives and brave faces. Anxiety, exhaustion, and disconnection linger even when we’ve tried everything else.
This book meets those wounds with the steady, restoring rhythm of Psalm 23. Through ancient Hebrew insight, guided reflection, and Spirit-led awareness, readers are invited to experience healing that reaches deeper than behavior — touching identity, belonging, and the inner landscape of the soul.
He Restores My Soul is not a self-help manual or a call to try harder.
It is an invitation into soul renovation — an inner work carried out by the Great Shepherd Himself.
This journey is not powered by striving or performance.
It is powered by presence.
Inside This Journey, You’ll Discover

Restoration beyond survival
A way of living that moves from merely coping to being deeply renewed.
"This is not a gentle lullaby for the end of life. It is a victory song for living. You are not a forgotten lamb. You are not a problem to be fixed. You are not meant to merely survive. You were made for green pastures and still waters. For presence. For promise. For peace."
